Rachel holds a bachelor of music degree in musical theatre from Baldwin Wallace University and has performed in theatres across the USA, eventually basing herself in New York City. While in New York Rachel served as the Vice President of the board of directors of The Stonewall Chorale, the nations first mixed-voice LGBTQ+ Chorale, and directed the 60+ member chorale in the New York premiere of Quiet No More: A Chorale Celebration of Stonewall, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. In 2020, Rachel relocated to the UK to pursue a master’s degree in musical theatre from Guildford School of Acting, earning the award for Best Overall Postgraduate Performance for her course.
In 2024, Rachel was an Associate Lecturer in Musical Theatre at the University of Worcester, music directed the Generation Q Collective’s show Queer My Throat at Midlands Arts Center, Birmingham (MAC), performed as Gaia in JUST BE YOU with Mobilise Arts at MAC, Worcester Arches, and the Royal Shakespeare Company's Holloway Garden Theatre. Rachel also collaborated in the creation of THE QUEER MOTHERHOOD PROJECT, an arts and research project by Mobilise Arts in partnership with Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), DIVA, Shout Festival of Queer Arts and Culture, Birmingham Pride Community Foundation, and Arts Council England, with performances at MAC and King's Head Theatre, London.
